Natural Ways to Quit Smoking

To quit smoking is quite a challenge. Many have tried many different ways to quit smoking yet have failed doing so. There are many factors to this failure. Number one reason is the fact that smoking addiction can be pointed to the body’s nicotine addiction. Scientifically and medically speaking, the body develops a dependency on nicotine, thus, people trying to quit find it extremely difficult. Here are some of the natural ways to quit smoking that may be useful to you or your loved ones:

Laser Therapy – This is a new technology that uses laser beams to stimulate the body’s endorphin hormones to block out the body’s cravings for nicotine. With the cravings blocked out, a smoker loses the urge and need to smoke another cigarette. This method is probably one of the most effective natural ways to quit smoking because it is medically tested and tried by many. Aside from the laser therapy sessions, series of counseling sessions are also provided to encourage an overall healthy lifestyle.

The Cold Turkey Method – This method is a very common natural way to quit smoking yet it may be difficult for most people. This method involves the abrupt cessation of smoking without the use of any quitting aids. While other quitting methods encourage the use of aids such as nicotine patches and gums, the cold turkey method simply uses discipline and total discontinue of smoking. Some people find this effective as long as their internal determination is very strong and the environment they have does not tolerate smoking.

Hypnotherapy – This method involves hypnosis in quitting smoking. Some people say it is an effective means to make someone stop smoking by setting the subconscious and the conscious levels of the mind to avert from nicotine and smoking. While this may be a natural way to quit smoking, not every one finds it as effective as the laser therapy or cold turkey methods.
